R-11 Gunner Fix

Gunners on some 2-seaters should now work as advertised. Make sure you use Gabi's RELOAD to launch the game & that "Front Guns" box is checked off.

ROTJ III "BETA" R11 READ ME:

Before you begin:

 1. Finish, then *DELETE* any pilots/campaigns you've created. You can do this in the game, or open Windows Explorer, find the Sierra\RedBaron folder, find the Campaign folder, and delete the files within.

 2. In the Sierra\RedBaron folder, find the "SINGLE" folder and delete any single missions that are there.

 3. Empty your SIMPATCH folder. This is where the 10 ROTJ disks will go.

DO NOT EMPTY SIMPATCH FOLDER IF YOU ARE USING RB2 w/ SUPERPATCH.

4. In your game preferences, ensure that everything is set to "authentic" and "custom".

5. Ensure that there are no subfolders in SIMPATCH folder, files must be unzipped directly to SIMPATCH.

NOTE: Some aircraft are not finished. Some may lack moving surfaces, or some bitmaps may not fit right. These are being addressed. Some cockpits are not yet complete, but I have fixed *many* of them in this release!

NOTICE: Install any "RBFix" or FCJ Control Panel *FIRST*, and ensure it works before installing ROTJ.

Release 10 of ROTJ has updated several aircraft to 2006 standards. Data files have been radically altered from previous versions, so this release is *not* compatible with prior versions of ROTJ3Beta.

The Upgrade file is not currently needed at this time, R11 thus far has all upgrades included.

The Terrain file on the left is optional. To install, just click on the EXE file to run, and select where to install it (usually the default setting).

2-seater aircraft notice:

NOTICE: To fly 2-seater aircraft, you *MUST* turn auto pilot on before engaging the enemy! (You can turn it off after you are sure "Otto" can fire.)

You may also have to target an enemy plane & hit "Ctrl-E", "T" key or "Alt-E" keys on your keyboard.

......If you do not do this, you will have no guns!

To fire the FRONT guns on 2-seaters, you need Gabi's "ReLoad" program.

RELOAD

If you do not have a Glide video card, you'll need Gabi's Glide Emulator.

GLIDE 256

Both of these are unzipped directly to your REDBARON folder.

(Not SIMPATCH folder!)

Use the RELOAD exe file to launch RB, not the RB exe file.
